These terms apply specifically to the Heritage Gateway platform.

1. About Heritage Gateway
Heritage Gateway allows users to preserve, document, and share cultural heritage, family history, and ancestral content.

2. User Content
You retain ownership of all heritage content you upload, including:
• Family photos and documents
• Historical records
• Cultural artifacts (digital)
• Genealogy information

3. Accuracy
You are responsible for the accuracy of heritage information you submit. We do not verify historical claims.

4. Sensitive Information
Heritage content may include sensitive family or cultural information. You agree to:
• Respect privacy of living individuals
• Obtain consent when needed
• Handle cultural content respectfully

5. Collaboration
Heritage Gateway allows collaborative family trees and shared albums. Contributors must follow our Community Guidelines.

6. Cultural Sensitivity
We respect diverse cultural traditions. Content depicting cultural practices should be shared respectfully and with appropriate context.

7. Preservation
We take reasonable measures to preserve heritage content but recommend keeping personal backups.
